Meta Ads Budget in the UAE: How Much Should You Spend per Day?

There is no magic number, but there is a method. Work backwards from customers, not forwards from guesses.

Meta Ads Budget in the UAE: How Much Should You Spend per Day?

The question we hear most from business owners is: how much should I spend on Meta ads each day? Agencies often answer with a vague range, which does not help. The right budget depends on your goal, your margins and the cost of results in your market.

This guide gives you a method to choose a starting budget, a way to test it and rules for scaling without wasting money.

Start from the customer, not the dirhams

Ask three questions before you set a budget.

  1. How many new customers do I want each month?
  2. What share of leads become customers?
  3. How much profit does one customer bring?

From these you can work out how many leads you need and how much you can afford to pay for each one.

The budget formula

  • Customers needed ÷ close rate = leads needed.
  • Leads needed × estimated cost per lead = ad spend needed.
  • Ad spend ÷ 30 = rough daily budget.

How to estimate your cost per lead

If you have no data, assume a range and test. Costs vary widely by industry, offer, creative and audience. A first campaign is a measurement exercise as much as a sales exercise, so plan to learn before you scale.

Setting a testing budget

Meta's system needs enough conversions to learn. Very small budgets may deliver slowly and give noisy results. As a rule of thumb, choose a daily budget that allows each ad set to get a meaningful number of results within a week, and run the test for at least seven days before judging.

  • Do not split a small budget across many ad sets.
  • Use one or two ad sets with three to five ads.
  • Avoid changing budgets, audiences or creatives during the learning period.
  • Judge results after a full week, not after a day.

What affects your costs

  • Industry and competition: some sectors cost much more per lead.
  • Audience size and location.
  • Creative quality and relevance.
  • Offer strength: a clear, valuable offer lowers costs.
  • Landing page or chat experience: better conversion lowers the cost per customer.
  • Seasonality: costs often rise around busy shopping periods.

Scaling rules

Once you have a profitable campaign, scale carefully.

  1. Increase the budget gradually, for example in modest steps every few days.
  2. Duplicate winning ad sets rather than constantly changing them.
  3. Add new creatives before the old ones tire.
  4. Watch cost per customer, not only cost per lead.
  5. If performance drops, return to the last good level and test again.

When to cut or pause

  • Cost per customer is well above what you can afford after a fair test.
  • Lead quality is poor even after adjusting targeting.
  • The landing page or offer is broken.
  • Tracking is not working, in which case fix this first.

Budget by goal

  • Local business wanting calls and chats: a smaller steady budget focused on a defined area.
  • E-commerce: budget linked to return on ad spend and stock.
  • Real estate: budget linked to cost per qualified lead and viewings.
  • Brand awareness: a larger reach-based budget with patience, and a way to measure impact.

Common mistakes

  • Starting too small to learn anything, or too big to survive a bad test.
  • Judging after one day.
  • Changing the budget constantly.
  • Ignoring the cost of creative and management in the total.
  • Chasing the cheapest leads instead of the best customers.

A simple 30-day budget plan

  1. Week 1: launch with your testing budget and monitor delivery.
  2. Week 2: pause clear losers and replace creatives.
  3. Week 3: keep the winner, test one new variable.
  4. Week 4: calculate cost per customer and decide whether to scale, hold or stop.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a minimum budget?

Meta allows small budgets, but very low spending slows learning. Choose a level that gives you enough results to read.

Should I use a daily or lifetime budget?

Daily budgets are simpler to control for most small businesses. Lifetime budgets can suit fixed-date promotions.

Do I pay Meta or the agency?

Ad spend is paid directly to Meta from your account. An agency charges a separate management fee.
